Abigail Breslin has signed on for the indie drama Class Project

Posted by: Zack Bruce

There’s a handful of young actresses out there right now that have some serious potential. One of them is definitely Abigail Breslin. Her talent was first noticeable in M. Night Shyamalan’s SIGNS and then in LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. She also knows how to pick great projects for herself. While her next film, NEW YEAR’S EVE may not prove to be so grand it does give Breslin the opportunity to work with a good variety of actors and actresses.

Recently, Breslin was cast in the indie drama, CLASS PROJECT. Stan Brooks is set to direct the script from Fabrizio Filippo and Adam Till, which is adapted from Bob Mitchell’s book “The Class Project: How To Kill a Mother: The True Story of Canada’s Infamous Bathtub Girls.” The story is about two sisters who are fed up with their alcoholic mother and abusive boyfriends so they plot to kill their mother.

This will definitely show us the darker side of Breslin and if all goes well, a role like this could give her even more notoriety in Hollywood.
