Adam Sandler in That's My Boy

For my money, Adam Sandler has two types of films: the ridiculously stupid, almost unwatchable films (JACK AND JILL) and then the mildly amusing films (JUST GO WITH IT). From the first trailer, it looks like his latest effort, THAT’S MY BOY (which was previously called I HATE YOU DAD) seems like the latter. I chuckled a few times during the trailer and I’m sure it will be amusing, especially if you’re an Adam Sandler fan. The story is about a deadbeat dad that tries to reconnect with his son after not seeing him for years. It’s typical Adam Sandler fodder, but with the R-rating, hopefully it will be decent.

THAT’S MY BOY stars Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg Leighton Meester, James Caan, Susan Sarandon, Milo Ventimiglia, Will Forte, Colin Quinn and Vanilla Ice. The Sean Anders directed film hits theaters on June 15th, 2012.
