Adam Sandler, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart receive multiple Razzie nominations

As America prepares to celebrate the best in film for 2011, let us not let those that committed horrible crimes against cinema go unpunished. So thank goodness for the Razzies, which have just announced their nominations for the worst of 2011. Some of these are pretty clever, including nominating THE HANGOVER II for worst sequel and worst remake. I also like the nomination for worst screen couple given to “Nicolas Cage & Anyone Sharing the Screen with Him in Any of His Three 2011 Movies”. It’s tough to creatively insult Nicolas Cage anymore, but they did a nice job.
And to no one’s surprise, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 1 received 7 Razzie nominations in all, including worst actor and actress for Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart and then they threw in Robert Pattinson for worst couple. Personally, I thought they were a little hard on the film, but mentioning Twilight will get them more exposure. I can’t think of anyone they left off and I’m extremely pleased to see Adam Sandler set a record with 11 Razzie nominations. JACK & JILL was an abomination, even for him.
