Alex Pettyfer is willing to take his stripping to the stage in the Magic Mike Broadway production
Just a couple of days ago it was revealed that the upcoming male stripper film MAGIC MIKE, starring Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer, would be making its way to Broadway. Today we’re finding out that Alex Pettyfer is willing to go to Broadway himself and make this production a success. Alex Pettyfer says that he “absolutely” wants to perform in the Broadway adaptation and that in reference to his fellow cast mates, “I think we should all do the opening night.” I agree and if I was in New York I would gladly help fill that theater, though not necessarily for Alex Pettyfer but I would be happy to support Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello.
MAGIC MIKE is based on the early days of Channing Tatum’s career when he was a male stripper before he made it big in Hollywood. Directed by Steven Sodebergh, MAGIC MIKE stars: Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Gabriel Iglesias, Riley Keough, Olivia Munn and Cody Horn. It’s set to be released tomorrow, June 29, 2012. (THR)
