Amber Heard is joining Dominic Cooper for Motor City

Amber Heard hasn’t had the best of lucky lately. First THE PLAYBOY CLUB gets axed then THE RUM DIARY with Johnny Depp under performs at the box office. What’s a nice little blonde girl to do? I guess she moves on to another film and hopes for the best.
Heard will be joining Dominic Cooper for MOTOR CITY. The story centers on a man (Cooper) released from prison who goes on a revenge mission, hunting down the people who framed him. Albert Hughes (THE BOOK OF ELI) will direct the script from Chad St. John. The actress was one of many to test for the leading lady role and ultimately lucked out.
All beauty aside, I really think that Heard shows a ton of promise as a young actress. She seems to do really fun roles but I think that she might take her career a little further if she got into a serious drama.
