Amy Acker and Nathan Fillion star in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing trailer

Amy Acker in Much Ado About Nothing

Featuring a who’s-who of the ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Angel’ universes, Joss Whedon’s labor of love, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING has a new trailer.  And even though Joss Whedon has amassed quite a large following after the success of THE AVENGERS, I’m guessing this film will suffer the same fate as CABIN IN THE WOODS in that long time Whedonites will show up on opening day and will love it, but no one else will give it a chance.  The film looks quirky and it seems Whedon has a new spin on Shakespeare’s old play and I’m definitely liking the black and white look.  Plus, it’s great seeing all my favorite Buffy and Angel alumni on the big screen together.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING will star: Nathan Fillion, Ashley Johnson, Clark Gregg, Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Sean Maher, Fran Kranz, Tom Lenk and Riki Lindhome. The film will receive a limited release on June 7th, but most of us will have to wait for the Blu-ray release.
