Amy Adams goes on the offense in a new clip from The Master
Another clip from THE MASTER has been released and this time we are getting a glance at the fire Amy Adams‘ character, Mary Sue Dodd, has burning in her heart. In this little piece Mary Sue Dodd is talking about how they (meaning the religious group) has to go on the attack and defend themselves. It’s actually a really great look at Amy Adams’ character as she is coming across as more of a leader in the group rather than just a follower.
THE MASTER follows Freddie Sutton (Joaquin Phoenix), a veteran going through a rough period in his life. When he happens upon Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman) who has come up with his own religion along with followers, including his wife, Mary Sue Dodd (Amy Adams), Sutton decides to try it out before questioning what he’s really starting to believe in. Loosely based on Scientology, THE MASTER should be a fascinating film that opens in theaters on September 14th, 2012. Check out the new clip below.
