Anthony LaPaglia and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to play brothers in Django Unchained

We already knew that Joseph Gordon-Levitt had joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED but there was only speculation about which role he would be playing. Now that Anthony LaPaglia is on board, he has the details on the both his and Levitt’s roles.
LaPaglia says that he will play the leader of a group of greedy Australians who encounter slave-turned-bounty hunter Django (Jamie Foxx) escorting a group of slaves recently purchased as fighters. LaPaglia said he and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play mean brothers. LaPaglia actually hails from Australia so it won’t take him long to find his accent again. I didn’t know that the actor was actually born their. I always assumed that he was from New York. Only due to the types of roles that he has played.
I haven’t read the script yet but sources say it’s definitely a good one. LaPaglia says that the content is imaginative and ambitious. With the subject matter, it’s definitely ambitious.
