Ben Affleck is up close and personal in the new Argo poster
A new poster for the 1970’s film ARGO has been released, and for anyone who wanted to get an up close and personal shot of Ben Affleck then this poster is for you. Actually this shot of Ben Affleck is so in your face it’s almost disturbing, Ben Affleck should be thankful this film was shot in 2012 and not 1970, because only Photoshop could erase pores and nose hairs at this distance. To sum up, not the best poster I’ve ever seen, but I guess considering the story this is the best they could come up with.
ARGO is based on a true story about a CIA team that leads an undercover operation to rescue six American hostages being held in Iran. In order to free the Americans, the CIA poses as filmmakers who are making a sci-fi film in order to get close to the kidnappers. Doesn’t that sound pretty awesome? Along with Ben Affleck, ARGO will also star: Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Taylor Schilling, Kyle Chandler and Tate Donovan. The film is due to hit theaters this weekend on September 14th, 2012. (Warner Bros)
