Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams and Javier Bardem star in the new To The Wonder trailer

Easily one of my most anticipated movies of 2013, Terrence Malick’s latest existential film about love and loss, TO THE WONDER, has a new US trailer that looks just as good as all of the European trailers we’ve seen so far. I think it goes without saying that this film will be just as divisive as THE TREE OF LIFE, but I’m curious to see if it will have the passionate supporters that Malick’s previous film managed to get. Either way, the cinematography from Emmanuel Lubezki combined with the voiceover from Javier Bardem and the great score make this a powerful trailer, regardless of the finished product.
TO THE WONDER stars Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Javier Bardem, Olga Kurylenko, Charles Baker and Romina Mondello. Terrence Malick’s existential film about love and loss will hit US theaters on April 12th, 2013. Unfortunately, that’s a horrible release date for a Terrence Malick film and I fear this will be forgotten come awards season.
