Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill in the first look at Neighborhood Watch

The idea of a group of normal, regular suburban dads teaming up to form a neighborhood watch is a great idea for a comedy. You could take that basic idea and go down any number of great paths that would be filled with numerous hilarious moments. But instead, director Shawn Levy has decided to take that idea in his new film NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH and add a supernatural element to it, which is pretty much the only thing you could do to make it anything but funny. However, dissing a movie on a concept alone is never a good idea, so I’ll wait until we see the first trailer before I’m too hard on the film.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade, Will Forte, Rosemarie DeWitt and Billy Crudup. The new comedy is set to hit theaters on July 27th, 2012, which is a mere 7 days after the release of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
