Benjamin Walker may battle it out with Bradley Cooper in Paradise Lost

Benjamin Walker, who will be playing the lead in the upcoming film ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, is currently in talks to join the film PARADISE LOST. Based on the John Milton poem about the war between Heaven and Hell, Bradley Cooper is set to play Lucifer while Walker would take on the role of the Archangel Michael. The film is being directed by Alex Proyas and is supposed to start production early next year in Sydney, chances are good that it’ll also be shot in 3D (oh joy).
I think PARADISE LOST could be a really cool film. There are apparently three major battle sequences that take place, one in Heaven, one in Hell and one in the Garden of Eden- can you imagine designing the sets for these? What a cool job to have. If it’s done well I could easily see an Academy Award nomination on the horizon.
