Beyonce leaves the Clint Eastwood remake of A Star Is Born

There hasn’t really been any news regarding the Clint Eastwood remake of A STAR IS BORN, so it’s not really surprising that the female lead, played by Beyonce Knowles, has decided to leave the project. Beyonce Knowles did have a busy year being pregnant, and Clint Eastwood did take on another film during that time (TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE click the link to read the review), and during that time a male lead just couldn’t be pinned down. So now Warner Bros. is back to square one, and they have decided to cast a male lead before the female lead and rumor has it that Bradley Cooper and Johnny Depp have been approached. We all know that can change in a second though, so we’re just going to have to wait and see what happens.
If you are completely bummed out by this news, then take heart as Beyonce will be lending her voice talents alongside: John Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, Christoph Waltz, Jason Sudeikis and Aziz Ansari in the upcoming film EPIC which hits theaters on May 24th, 2013. (Variety)
