Bill Murray rides around as Franklin D. Roosevelt for the first look at Hyde Park on Hudson

Bill Murray has many faces. All of them are amazing. Though I can’t say that I ever thought I would see him as Franklin D. Roosevelt.

This will be our first look of Murray as the 32nd president of the United States for the film, HYDE PARK ON HUDSON. The story focuses on a weekend in 1939 when British royalty visits Roosevelt’s upstate New York home for the weekend, and will shed light on his affair with his cousin Daisy (Laura Linney). Shows me how much I know about our 23nd president. I had no clue that he had an affair with a cousin. But that wasn’t so taboo in the 30s or was it? I’m not well versed in that subject matter.

While this is not the first time that Roosevelt has been portrayed on movies and television, it is the first time Murray has played someone so high up in the political chain. Hunter S. Thompson does not count.
