Bow Wow and Lottery Ticket coming to Blu-ray

Warner Home Video has announced that the summer comedy LOTTERY TICKET, starring Bow Wow, Brandon T. Jackson and Ice Cube, will be released on Blu-ray November 11, 2010 in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. The film follows a young fellow (Bow Wow) who wins a lottery jackpot for over $350 million dollars. He must survive a long weekend in his neighborhood before all his friends and neighbors find out about his fortune. The film is the directorial debut of Erik White.
LOTTERY TICKET didn’t receive rave reviews and grossed just under $25 million at the box office. This film looks pretty formulaic and boring and I’m annoyed that Ice Cube did another crappy film. How am I supposed to defend this guy and his awesome turn in ANACONDA when he keeps doing lame films like LOTTERY TICKET and ARE WE DONE YET? Come on Ice Cube, help me out here!
