Brad Pitt stars in the Chanel No. 5 commercial directed by Joe Wright

Chanel No. 5 is putting out another star-studded commercial, and this time they have recruited Brad Pitt to stand in front of the camera while director Joe Wright (ANNA KARENINA) works from behind the lens. Of all the celebrity commercials I’ve seen in the last couple of years, this is by far and away the most boring. It just has Brad Pitt standing there, looking a little like he just rolled out of bed, and talking way too deeply about a scent. I’m sure this must have been a cool couple of million for both actor and director, but after watching this I’m not inclined to run out and buy a bottle of Chanel No. 5 at all, but maybe that’s just me. Brad Pitt can be seen in the upcoming film KILLING THEM SOFTLY, which hits theaters on November 30th, 2012.
