Brad Pitt wields a gun in new poster for Killing Them Softly

A new poster for the upcoming Brad Pitt film KILLING THEM SOFTLY has come out and this writer is sorely disappointed. Well, to be honest I was disappointed with the last trailer and this follow-up poster just makes me want to see this film even less. Whenever you hear that Brad Pitt has signed on to a film you expect something special because Brad Pitt is one of the few top actors out there that chooses consistently good roles. It’s very possible that KILLING THEM SOFTLY is a very good film and the marketing just stinks, in which case they should be ashamed of themselves because how hard can it be to make a Brad Pitt film look interesting?
Directed by Andrew Dominik,KILLING THEM SOFTLY follows Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt) who is a professional enforcer investigating a robbery that took place during a mob poker game. Along with Brad Pitt, KILLING THEM SOFTLY stars: Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins and Ray Liotta. KILLING THEM SOFTLY hits theaters on October 19th, 2012. (HuffPost)
