Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis will have to deal with more Ken Jeong in The Hangover Part 3
Although it had its fair share of laughs, THE HANGOVER PART II was generally panned by critics and audiences alike for being a virtual exact replica of THE HANGOVER. Knowing that, director Todd Phillips has promised that the third film in the series will take a different angle. It has been rumored that the third go around will find the boys in Mexico, trying to break Alan (Zach Galifianakis) out of a hospital of some sort. We of course don’t know the exact plot details yet, but today another piece of information has come out that says Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong) will be playing a much larger role in THE HANGOVER PART III.
I’m not sure more Mr. Chow is the answer to the third Hangover film. In fact, I’d venture to say that making him a featured character rather than a supporting one is the wrong direction to take. Ken Jeong is good in small doses, but his act can get old quickly. Right now, we know that Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and even Mike Tyson are all coming back for THE HANGOVER PART III. The film is scheduled to start shooting this fall and is slated to hits theaters on May 24th, 2013. (THR)
