Bradley Cooper lines up an English remake of Kokowääh
I was just going on about how many projects Tom Hardy has lined up, but after reviewing Bradley Cooper‘s upcoming slate, I’d say the former ‘Alias’ star has just as many movies he’s currently attached to or has in work. Today, Bradley Cooper has added yet another project to the mix as Cooper and Warner Bros. are looking to make an English language adaptation of the German film KOKOWAAH. The original German film actually starred INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS’ Til Schweiger, who also directed and co-wrote the movie. KOKOWAAH is about a bachelor, whose life is turned upside down when he learns he’s the father of an 8 year-old girl.
So what else does Bradley Cooper have lined up? Well, he has THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES and THE HANGOVER PART III coming in just a few months, then he has the still untitled David O. Russell film, Cameron Crowe’s next movie, the spy thriller DARK INVASION, the mystery THE MAN FROM PRIMROSE LANE, the crime thriller BAD BLOOD AND TROUBLE and AMERICAN SNIPER. Oh, and don’t forget that Bradley Cooper expressed interest in J.J. Abrams’ planned biopic on Lance Armstrong. And I’m not even listing all the films he’s been attached to at some point, but then dropped out. Needless to say, Bradley Cooper is one busy guy. But I suspect KOKOWAAH will get the greenlight fast since it shouldn’t take long to film and shouldn’t be too expensive. (Deadline)
