Bruce Willis, Edward Norton and Bill Murray may team up with Wes Anderson in Moon Rise Kingdom

Wes Anderson has written a movie and plans to direct, and when that happens actors come running. In talks to star in the next Wes Anderson film, which is co-written by Roman Coppola, are: Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand. Not too shabby of a cast if you ask me.  The film will be entitled MOON RISE KINGDOM and will be about two young adults who fall in love and run away. The heads of their New England hometown are worried that they have disappeared and send scouts out in search of them.  Norton would be the leader of the search party, Willis would play the sheriff of the town who is having an affair with the missing girls mother, who would be played by McDormand and Murray would play the father of the missing girl who has a whole other set of issues. No word on what role Swinton would play in the film.  Shooting is to begin next spring.

Wes Anderson is hit or miss with me.  I loved THE DARJEELING LIMITED but was not really a fan of THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX.  MOON RISE KINGDOM sounds very intriguing and I’m looking forward to seeing how the casting progresses.
