Caesar the ape is the focus of this poster for Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I’ve taken chances watching any movie with PLANET OF THE APES as the title. The original with Charlton Heston is classic, manly cheese. It takes the viewer beyond the true point of Heston’s overacting abilties. Tim Burton’s version was not for me. I’m not going to be that person who continually bashes it, but mistakes were made. The newest version which is a prequel, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES looks fairly entertaining.
A new poster for the film shows the face of lead ape, Caesar played by Andy Serkis. He’s an ape with a serious mission and a serious look on his face.
