Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford show up in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Comic-Con reel

The cast and crew of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS showed up at Comic-Con’s Hall H last night to talk everything Star Wars and to give a few more details about the film.  Fans were hoping for a surprise trailer or maybe some exclusive action figures, but the juiciest detail we got was the revelation that Domhnall Gleeson is playing the bad guy named General Hux.  So unfortunately, he won’t be playing Luke Skywalker’s son like some people speculated, or maybe he will, I guess we don’t really know.  We do know that he, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) will be based out of a place called “Starkiller”.  We still don’t know anything about Luke’s role in the new trilogy, which is disappointing.  But we’re only five months away and the point is that although tidbits were dropped, we still don’t know much about the plot.  However, despite the lack of revelations, the footage below is pretty great and gives a lot of hope for what awaits us in December.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, who join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Warwick Davis and Kenny Baker. The J.J. Abrams directed film hits theaters on December 18th, 2015.
