Channing Tatum may join Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful Eight
Everyone in Hollywood wants to work with Quentin Tarantino, but only the lucky few actually get to do it. But one thing is for certain; Tarantino can make anyone look like a great actor and even more so, he can make anyone look cool. Well, Channing Tatum doesn’t need any help with the latter, but Tarantino might have his work cut out for him with the former if this news holds true. Deadline is reporting that Channing Tatum is going to join Quentin Tarantino’s HATEFUL EIGHT in an unspecified, but “major” role. We don’t know anything other than that, but the idea of Channing Tatum starring in a Tarantino movie is pretty enticing, if only to see how the director will use him.
From what we know about HATEFUL EIGHT, the movie may or may not star the same group that did the script reading with Tarantino several months ago. Among the stars at the reading were Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Amber Tamblyn, Walton Goggins, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, James Parks, Denis Menochet, Dana Gourrier, Zoe Bell and James Remar, all of which will be starring in the film. We also know that Jennifer Jason Leigh has grabbed the female lead. Stay tuned for more details.
