Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in a new Jupiter Ascending trailer
It’s a good thing Warner just released a new trailer for JUPITER ASCENDING because I had honestly forgotten all about it. It was originally supposed to hit theaters this summer, but for whatever undisclosed reason, the film was pushed to a wasteland date of early February. I’m still not sure what to think of the film, but I’m intrigued at the idea and just hope the Wachowskis don’t take themselves, or the film too seriously. Check out the new trailer below.
The official JUPITER ASCENDING synopsis: The film follows Jupiter Jones (Kunis), a young woman born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along – her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos. JUPITER ASCENDING stars Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Doona Bae and James D’Arcy. The Andy and Lana Wachowski directed film hits theaters on February 6th, 2015.
