Charlie Sheen doesn't want Corbin Bernsen left out of Major League 4

A long time ago (actually, it was just last June) it was reported that Charlie Sheen was working with writer/director David S. Ward to reprise his role in another installment of MAJOR LEAGUE. We haven’t really heard anything about it since, but apparently it’s still in the works and everybody (Tom Berenger, Renee Russo and Wesley Snipes (isn’t he in jail?)) will come back except for Corbin Bernsen. Now, for those of you who remember, Bernsen played Roger Dorn, who was a jerky character but still one of the leads. Sheen has expressed his interest in having Bernsen on board, but he doesn’t appear to be trying to hard if you go by his statement, “I would love it for him to be in, but I ain’t the writer or director.” Way to stick your neck out there, buddy. The script isn’t finalized so Roger Dorn may make it in there yet, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

On a personal note, I think this is a horrible idea. I loved the first two films in the MAJOR LEAGUE franchise but the third one was awful to the nth degree and resurrecting it right now would probably not end well.
