Check out the first trailer for Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney
Yesterday we saw a first look at George Clooney and Britt Robertson in the upcoming sci-fi film TOMORROWLAND, and low and behold Disney went ahead and released a teaser trailer so we wouldn’t have to be in too much suspense. The first look at TOMORROWLAND is intriguing, but considering the film is based off a section of an amusement park I’ll hold in my enthusiasm until we see a longer clip. What do you think about Disney making their park rides and “lands” into films? THE HAUNTED MANSION didn’t wow crowds, but then again George Clooney wasn’t attached either. Will you go see this movie next year?
Here’s the official synopsis: From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure TOMORROWLAND, starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as TOMORROWLAND. What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.
Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Lindelof & Bird & Jeff Jensen, TOMORROWLAND promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
TOMORROWLAND stars: George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Judy Greer, Hugh Laurie, Kathry Hahn, Tim McGraw and Locklyn Munro. It’s set to hit theaters on May 22, 2015. Check out the trailer below.
