The first trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER is here and I have to say, it looks pretty fun. It seems they’re turning Steve Rogers into a secret agent of some sort, but it actually works. I was concerned how they were going to incorporate Captain America into the modern world, but so far, I’m liking what I’m seeing. The trailer gives us everything we could want in a first trailer; we see Cap’s new suit, the Black Widow, Falcon, Winter Soldier and plenty of action. Check it out below. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will star Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Robert Redford. The Russo brothers Anthony and Joe will direct with the opening date set for April 4th, 2014.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLIDER official synopsis: After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
