Chris Pratt is eying the lead role in Jurassic World
If I were an executive in Hollywood right now and needed a charismatic leading man for my franchise, I’d snatch up Chris Pratt while he’s still affordable. Marvel had the right idea with GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and now it looks like the makers of JURASSIC WORLD are following in their footsteps. Everything is still a ways off, but if it all falls into place, the ‘Parks and Recreation’ star will head to JURASSIC WORLD to take on some angry dinosaurs. Of course, this is all contingent on getting a deal in place and making sure his ‘Parks and Recreation’ commitment can be worked around.
For a while, it looked like Josh Brolin was going to be visiting JURASSIC WORLD as well, but it seems that’s no longer going to happen. Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but I’m guessing as soon as the cast is nailed down, we’ll get some sort of synopsis. As of now, it’s confirmed that Bryce Dallas-Howard, Irrfan Khan and Nick Robinson are all set to star in the Colin Trevorrow film. JURASSIC WORLD smashes into theaters on June 12th, 2015.
