Christopher Nolan directs Gary Oldman and Marion Cotillard on the set of The Dark Knight Rises

Even though all of us were disappointed in what was obviously a rushed teaser trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, there’s no denying we’re still excited for Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film. Filming continued this weekend in Pittsburgh where Gary Oldman and Marion Cotillard showed up for a scene from the film. Interestingly enough, the temperature in Pittsburgh right now is almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit, but that can’t stop Gary Oldman from wearing that heavy wool coat. According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazzette, the scene in question concerns: “Well-meaning Wayne Enterprises board member Miranda Tate, played by Marion Cotillard, came to the judge’s house in a scene with Commissioner Gordon and Detective Jim Blake, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.” Unfortunately, no images of Joseph Gordon-Levitt were available.
The film stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Juno Temple. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES opens in theaters on July 20, 2012.
