Clint Eastwood watches from the sidelines in the new Trouble With The Curve poster
Right on the heels of the trailer we’re getting a poster for Clint Eastwood’s upcoming baseball drama TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE. In the film Clint Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout with a poor relationship with his daughter (played by Amy Adams). While on the road Clint Eastwood meets another young scout (Justin Timberlake) that, of course, starts to fall for his daughter. Clint’s character is curmudgeonly and is averse to succumbing to the modern techniques used for scouting. He also seems to be annoyed that Justin Timberlake’s character can’t hit a curve ball, which is weird since he’s just a scout. What stood out to me in the trailer was that song “Home” from Philip Phillips, it was played during the 2012 Olympics during every gymnastics event. Anyway, check out the new poster for TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE below.
The Robert Lorenz directed film stars Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake, Amy Adams, John Goodman and Matthew Lillard. TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE hits theaters everywhere on September 28th, just in time for the World Series. (The Lebanese Movie Guide)
