Clive Owen, Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard star in the first Blood Ties trailer

If you don’t know who Guillaume Canet is, then you definitely should. The French actor and director actually stars in one of my favorite films, LOVE ME IF YOU DARE and has directed a couple of great films including TELL NO ONE and LITTLE WHITE LIES. He’s also dating Marion Cotillard, if you care about such things. He’s making his English language debut with the 70’s set crime drama BLOOD TIES. The film follows two brothers on opposite sides of the law. Clive Owen leads the cast as the recently paroled brother that tries to do well, but ends up taking the easy life of crime instead. I’m not sure I see Clive Owen and Mila Kunis together, but other than that the trailer looks pretty great. BLOOD TIES recently debuted at Cannes to mixed reviews.
BLOOD TIES stars Clive Owen, Mila Kunis, Marion Cotillard, Billy Crudup, Zoe Saldana, Matthias Schoenaerts, James Caan, Lili Taylor and Noah Emmerich. The Guillaume Canet directed film will hit theaters some time later this year.
