Cowboys & Aliens, starring Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde, coming to Blu-ray in December

Was there a more disappointing movie this summer than COWBOYS & ALIENS? I guess the idea of aliens invading during the Old Western days is a tough idea to put on the big screen, but with the cast and filmmaking talent behind this, I would have expected more. Is this a flash in the pan, or does it mean Favreau was a one-hit wonder with IRON MAN and Daniel Craig can only do action if he’s playing James Bond? You can decide for yourself when this hits Blu-ray on December 6th. The film stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell and Olivia Wilde.
The DVD and Blu-ray will both showcase four featurettes while the Blu-ray will have some exclusive features, including a commentary with Jon Favreau, a collection of video diaries, two featurettes and Universal’s Second Screen. Of course, the film will also have an “extended edition” that will have 17 minutes of new footage. Watch the trailer below.
