Craig Robinson, Kerry Washington and David Alan Grier to star in We The Peeples

Craig Robinson, Kerry Washington and David Alan Grier are all set to star in the comedy WE THE PEEPLES for writer and director Tina Gordon Chism. The film actually has a great premise in which a child psychologist (Craig Robinson) surprises his girlfriend when he crashes her family’s annual get-together at their vacation home. But when he gets there, he quickly realizes that her political family really needs some therapy.
Craig Robinson is hilarious, but only when he’s playing off of someone else, so this is a perfect role for him. He’ll be the straight-laced guy and they can have as many crazy people surrounding him as they want, each providing a different comedic avenue for Robinson to respond to. It’s also nice to see David Alan Grier back in action. Somehow I can’t help but think that at least one Wayan is going to be starring in this film as well.
