Dane Cook lends his voice in the new Disney’s Planes teaser trailer

You may have heard some time ago that Disney was going to be making a movie similar to Pixar’s film CARS, but this time the story would revolve around planes. Well, it looks like the project is well underway as today we’re getting a new teaser trailer for the film. It should be mentioned that Pixar has nothing to do with this upcoming movie, cleverly titled PLANES. PLANES is actually being produced by DisneyToon Studios, so if you had high hopes then I may have just crushed them. Oh, and Dane Cook is also voicing the lead character named Dusty, so that’s also a bit of a bummer. Check out the new teaser trailer for PLANES below.
PLANES is being directed Klay Hall and so far we only know that Dane Cook is on board in the voice department. PLANES follows a cropdusting plane named Dusty who has dreams of competing in an aerial race, the only problem is he’s afraid of heights. Luckily he finds a mentor named Skipper and a new batch of friends to help him make his dreams come true. PLANES hits theaters on August 9th, 2013.
