Daniel Craig is back as James Bond in the teaser trailer for Skyfall

As you may already know another James Bond film is coming out starring Daniel Craig and though it’s had some serious issues getting off the ground, we’re finally getting to see a teaser trailer for SKYFALL. I wish I could say that I was excited for this 23rd installment in the James Bond franchise, but I’m just not. Daniel Craig is a great 007 in my book, but the last film, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, was just so bad I refuse to re-watch it and suffer through it again. I’ really hoping SKYFALL will be more along the lines of CASINO ROYALE so I’m putting all my faith in director Sam Mendes for a great Bond film.
SKYFALL follows James Bond (Daniel Craig) who’s loyalty to M (Dame Judi Dench) is put to the test when a part of her past comes back to haunt MI6. As the agency comes under attack, 007 must track down the threat and destroy it no matter how personal it gets. That actually sounds like a really great plot. Alongside Daniel Craig and Judi Dench, SKYFALL stars: Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe. Directed by Sam Mendes, SKYFALL opens in theaters on November 9, 2012.
I’m not a huge fan of the famous British spy 007 but I know he has quite the following around the world. I’d love to know if fans still get as excited about James Bond films today like they did decades ago. With 23 films and counting, the James Bond franchise doesn’t look like it’s even close to losing steam. So here’s my question- how many more James Bond films would you be willing to watch in your lifetime? Or when should James Bond officially holster his gun? Do you think this franchise should be laid to rest? So that’s three questions, but I’d really love to hear some opinions out there. Check out the teaser trailer for SKYFALL below.
