Diablo Cody will get in the directors chair for Lamb of God

Writer of JUNO and JENNIFER’S BODY, Diablo Cody is getting behind the camera for her screenplay, LAMB OF GOD.
The film will follow, “a young conservative religious woman who loses her faith after a plane crash, decides to go to Las Vegas to live the life of a sinner, and on her journey finds her way back to her faith.” LAMB OF GOD will pair Diablo with executive producer Nathan Kahne and Mason Novick (500 DAYS OF SUMMER) who will serve as producer.
Kahne said this on working with Cody, “Having been in the trenches with Diablo and Mason on ‘Juno’ and ‘Young Adult,’ we immediately jumped at the opportunity to partner with them again. It’s an honor to be a part of Diablo’s transition as a director.”
Cody will get to work on the dark comedy, YOUNG ADULT this fall with JUNO director Jason Reitman. Recently, Cody’s series UNITED STATES OF TARA was cancelled leaving her now with more time to work on films.
