Django Unchained starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx coming to Blu-ray in April

Anchor Bay Entertainment and The Weinstein Company have announced that the Academy Award winning film from Quentin Tarantino, DJANGO UNCHAINED (click the link to read the review), starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, James Remar and Walton Goggins, will be available in a Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack on April 16th, 2013.
DJANGO UNCHAINED follows the story of Django (Jamie Foxx), a slave who is befriended by a bounty hunter named Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). After working together on several bounties, the two work out a plan to free Django’s wife from the evil slave owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio). In true Quentin Tarantino form, there is a lot of cursing and blood but definitely a good time. Check out the trailer for DJANGO UNCHAINED below.
If you watched the 85th Academy Awards, then you know DJANGO UNCHAINED took home two Oscars for Best Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz) and Best Original Screenplay. If you didn’t get a chance to see this film in theaters then be sure to pick it up next month.
