Paramount released the above image today, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis and Adrianne Palicki in the sequel G.I. JOE: RETALIATION and it dawned on me that I hadn’t yet posted the Super Bowl spot that came out earlier in the week. So here you go; a brand new image and a 30 second trailer for the upcoming film. Even though I absolutely despised the first one, I have to admit that the sequel looks like a lot of fun. Whenever you’re in doubt, you can always count on Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow to provide some entertainment.
The film stars Channing Tatum as Duke, Dwayne Johnson as Road Block, Ray Park as Snake Eyes, Lee Byong-Hun as Storm Shadow, Elodie Yung as Jinx, Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye, D.J. Cortona as Flint, Ray Stevenson as Firefly, Arnold Vosloo as Zartan, Eddie Hargitay as Tunnel Rat and Bruce Willis as General Joe Colton. Jon M. Chu is directing the film that hits theaters on August 10th, 2012.
