Edgar Wright has written a script that is kind of like a musical

Edgar Wright is a fine director. His comedies are better than the normal and with his recent experiment in adaptation a graphic novel, SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, the director hit it out of the park.
So what’s next on Wright’s plate? Will it be ANT MAN? THE WORLD’S END? Or this film we really know nothing about called, BABY DRIVER? There’s no official word on what will be next, nor does Wright even seem like he truly knows what direction he wants to go in. However, he has written a script for something that closely resembles a musical. After a screening of THE UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG, Wright said this, “I’ve written a script which is kind of like a musical. Slightly a departure for me in some ways, but when I’ve told people about the movie and the idea, most of them have said, ‘You’ve got to see ‘Umbrellas of Cherbourg,’’ So here we are.”
If Wright can pull off something from the world of comics and blend classic video games, I believe he’s more than capable of doing a musical. I can also guarantee that it will be something different from the genre norm.
