I don’t dislike pregnant women, but I will be honest; sometimes the sight of one is enough to make me nauseous. So the idea of an ensemble NEW YEAR’S EVE-ish type film about a bunch of pregnant women is not my idea of a good time. However, if you think watching a handful of famous and attractive actresses complain about being pregnant and act crazy, then WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU’RE EXPECTING is for you. The film is directed by Kirk Jones and based on the book of the same name.
The film has an impressive cast which seems to feature Elizabeth Banks in the lead role, along with Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Chace Crawford, Dennis Quaid, Brooklyn Decker, Jennifer Lopez, Anna Kendrick, Chris Rock, Rob Huebel, Rodrigo Santoro, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Tom Lennon. The film hits theaters everywhere on May 11th, 2012.
