Elizabeth Olsen and How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor to team up for Liberal Arts

With his first indie feature film (in which he directed, wrote  and starred in) HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE behind him, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER’s Josh Radnor will be doing another film that he also will write, direct and star in called LIBERAL ARTS. However, this time he has snatched up the up and coming actress Elizabeth Olsen who blew audiences away at the Sundance Film Festival. The film follows a 35-year-old guy (Radnor) who is having a tough time adjusting to life after college and ends up falling for a girl (Olsen) currently in college after they make a connection through their love of literature and music. The story will follow his transition into maturity and responsibility and how it affects the relationship he has with his much younger girlfriend who is at a different point in her life. LIBERAL ARTS is set to start shooting this spring when HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is on hiatus.

I think this has a lot of potential to be a really touching and great film. I’m anxious to see how Radnor’s film career goes and I’m happy to see the lesser known Olsen sister take on Hollywood in serious roles.
