Emily Blunt and Ricky Gervais join Jason Segel and Amy Adams in new Muppet movie

Casting news is still coming in as today we learn that English actors Emily Blunt and Ricky Gervais will star alongside Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones in the new Muppets movie. Seems that everyone in Hollywood wants a cameo in the film (as they should) and that list is getting long and includes: Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Alan Arkin. Rumored but unconfirmed cameos include: Jane Lynch, Paul Rudd, Danny Trejo, Ed Helms, Lady Gaga and John Krasinski. It’s really hard to keep up with who will be in the film and who is just expressing interest in the film but such is the life on a movie with puppets…I mean Muppets.
If you are looking for more Jason Segel, Emily Blunt and Jack Black goodness check out the upcoming GULLIVER’S TRAVELS trailer. I’m not a big Jack Black fan and tend to think he ruins a lot of good movies but Jason Segel is great and he can make most bad films a little better.
