Emily Browning and Juno Temple join Michael Cera in Magic, Magic

As the world anxiously awaits to see if Michael Cera can break out of his comedy schtick and pull off a more serious role in the upcoming MAGIC, MAGIC, we now have the female leads that will help him through the transition. Emily Browning, Juno Temple and Catalina Sandino Moreno have all joined the cast of the film about a woman vacationing down in Chile who suddenly starts losing her mind. But when she seeks help, no one believes her. Unfortunately, we don’t know which of the three actresses will fill the lead role, but I’ll remind everyone that Emily Browning has experience with crazy after starring in this summer’s SUCKER PUNCH.
I don’t feel like we know enough about this film yet and I’m not really even sure if we should consider this a thriller, drama or even a dramedy yet. With the cast they’ve assembled, it could go either way. I’m sure more information will be coming out in the next few weeks. Sebastian Silva will be directing the film.
