Emma Watson joins Your Voice In My Head for Harry Potter director David Yates

Emma Watson

If you’ve been a key part of one of the longest running, most successful franchises in movie history, you’d probably be a little skittish about branching out and building a free-standing career.  So who better to reunite with than the director of the last Harry Potter movies, David Yates?  Emma Watson has taken the lead role in the drama YOUR VOICE IN MY HEAD.   The film is about a self-destructive young woman who is saved by a caring psychiatrist.  Watson has popped up in smaller roles post-Potter like MY WEEK WITH MARILYN and the upcoming THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, but this will be her first true leading role.

If that wasn’t enough, Warner Bros. is hoping to get A-listers George Clooney or Tom Hanks to take the role of the psychiatrist.  There’s no word yet on when this will start shooting, but if one of the big name A-listers signs on, it will probably start sooner than later.
