Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Russell Crowe in new images from Noah

It has been a while since I was in Sunday school, but I don’t remember mean snakes, giant angels or a warrior Noah in the story of Noah’s ark. I thought it was just an old guy pairing up animals and building a ship. But next March, Darren Aronofsky is going to set the story straight and today we get some glimpses of several key players in the film, including Rusell Crowe as Noah, along with Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly and Ray Winstone. I’ll show up to anything Aronofsky directs, but I’m anxious to see what he does with such a large scale project with a huge budget. It will also be interesting to see how the religious nuts feel about a glamorous take on a classic story.
NOAH stars Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Jennifer Connelly, Douglas Booth, Martin Csokas, Dakota Goyo, Kevin Durand, Arnar Dan and Johannes Haukur Johanesson. The Darren Aronofsky directed film hits theaters on March 28th, 2014. (Fotogramas)
