Emma Watson, Rihanna and Seth Rogen appear in new images from This Is The End

This is the End

I think we can now say that THIS IS THE END will be the comedy event of the summer, especially now that THE HANGOVER PART III hit with a thud. As excited as I am to see what Seth Rogen and his friends have in store for us, I hate that it’s going up against MAN OF STEEL at the box office next week. I know in theory they have different demographics, but face it; everyone is going to go see MAN OF STEEL and it would be a shame if THIS IS THE END goes unnoticed because of it. I just can’t help but wonder how many people are going to go to theater and say “let’s see Man of Steel and then we’ll rent This Is The End on Blu-ray”. Early word from the film has been positive, so hopefully it will do well and besides, it features an axe-wielding Emma Watson, so what’s not to like? You can find out for yourself in one week but in the meantime, check out some new pics from the film below.

THIS IS THE END official synopsis: The comedy This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption. THIS IS THE END stars Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride and cameos from Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Michael Cera, Aziz Ansari, Kevin Hart, Emma Watson, Mindy Kaling, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Rihanna.
