Footloose, starring Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough, coming to Blu-ray in March

Well, the FOOTLOOSE remake has come and gone in theaters, but for those that thought the horror was over, I remind you that we still have to suffer through the home video release and the Blu-ray is due to hit store shelves on March 6th, 2012.  One of only a handful of movies to receive the dreaded 1 out of 10 score from us (read our FOOTLOOSE review and see if you agree), the film actually did well at theaters, hauling in over $50 million during its domestic run.  Considering the film only cost about $25 million to make, that’s a decent profit margin.  The Craig Brewer film stars Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid, Andie MacDowell,  Ziah Colon and Ray McKinnon.

Special features on the Blu-ray include a commentary with Craig Brewer, three Behind the Scenes featurettes (Jump Back: Re-Imagining Footloose, Everybody Cut: The Stars of Footloose, Dancing With the Footloose Stars), Deleted Scenes with optional commentary from Craig Brewer and three music videos (‘Footloose’ by Blake Shelton, ‘Fake ID’ by Big & Rich, ‘Holding Out For a Hero’ by Ella Mae Bowen) and finally, a Footloose Rap feature.  Watch the trailer below.
