Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor being considered for Thor 2

If there’s one show right now that everyone is talking about it’s GAME OF THRONES. I know I need to see this series but with my work being pretty heavy in bulk, I haven’t had time to really commit to anything new. Maybe around the holidays I can get through the first season so that when the second starts up I will be ready to roll.
Alan Taylor, who works as director on the HBO series is being considered as helmer for THOR 2. Recently, MONSTER director Patty Jenkins dropped out of the sequel due to creative differences. Taylor might be a good choice considering that he has been working on something in the fantasy genre. Jenkins does not have anything similar on her resume.
There’s no word yet on how the story of the thunder God will be continued. Kenneth Branagh will stay close to the project as an executive producer and of course, Chris Hemsworth will be back in the lead role.
