Game of Thrones: The Complete Second Season coming to Blu-ray in February

HBO has announced that the second season of the hit show GAME OF THRONES will be available on Blu-ray February 19th, 2013. GAME OF THRONES: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON is from directors David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and stars: Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Michelle Fairley, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington.

Based on the novel of “A Song of Ice and Fire” from author George R.R. Martin, the second season finds the Iron Throne occupied by the spoiled and cruel Joffrey who is being counseled by his mother (Lena Headey) as well as his uncle Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) who has been appointed Hand of the King. War still rages against the Lannisters who are trying to hold onto the throne, while Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is one of the power seekers who is on a voyage with her three dragons in tow.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch HBO’S GAME OF THRONES and you enjoy the fantasy genre, then I highly suggest you pick this series up. It’s highly addictive and you’ll be sad that the thirteen episodes per season went by so fast.
