Gary Oldman knows the ending of The Dark Knight Rises

So I don’t really want to know the ending of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES but it’s interesting to see who does know the ending. Christopher Nolan is very top secret about the details of any Batman script. I’ve heard about lock boxes and various other ways that the script is delivered to the cast. Now I’m not sure how true any of that is, but I don’t doubt that the script is kept under tight wraps.

Gary Oldman also known as Commissioner Gordon is one of the only people who knows the ending of the final Batman film. He did have to ask though, “Christopher doesn’t want anyone to ruin it and I completely understand that. The newer people on the film go to his office to read the script. They sent mine out, but it had to be hand delivered directly to me and nobody else. And the final few pages were missing. I went along and talked to Christopher and in person about the ending. Then I locked it away in my head.”

We don’t even have a plot for the film so there’s really no need to spaz out about the ending already. I thought it was interesting that Oldman said that if he were younger when THE DARK KNIGHT was made that people would be saying that the Joker was a Gary Oldman role. I have to agree.
